It's 3pm...
You did everything right. But you're exhausted.
You slept. You ate well. You moved your body this morning. You did everything the wellness world told you to do.
And you are done.
Not "a little tired." Done. The kind of tired where you're staring at your screen and nothing is getting through. Where you're getting in line for another cup of chai and craving something salty.
And then you wonder what's wrong with you.
Nothing is wrong with you.
For many Brown and Black adults, that afternoon crash is a real metabolic signal, not a discipline problem, not a sleep problem, not a drink more water/eat more protein problem. It's often your body's blood sugar response after a meal. That pattern, the spike, the drop, the wall, can show up earlier and more intensely in our communities than standard wellness advice was ever built to catch. And the advice that exists? It wasn't made with our biology in mind.
Your body has always been giving you information. This page exists to help you understand it.
